“Our priority has always been to produce the best quality pork,” says Pascale Pirson.

Pascale and François Pirson immigrated from Belgium in the mid '80s and purchased a hog operation in Quebec. The Pirsons gradually grew their business, La Porcherie Ardennes, with their customers needs in mind. Today, they have a reputation for producing some of the best-tasting, natural pork in Eastern Canada.

According to their customers, Pascale and François are doing a great job. “A 70-year-old gentleman told me he came home to the smell of our pork roast cooking in the oven,” Pascale explains. “He said the aroma took him back to his childhood.”

The secrets to their success, François says, are flavour and quality. “We don't use growth hormones, antibiotics or add animal fat to the feed. We only use non-GMO grains.”
