Cream of Curried Corn Soup by Hansen's Produce & Country Gift Store

4 cups corn kernels
1 chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. curry powder, salt and pepper to taste
2 cups chicken stock
2 cups half & half
chives or parsley to garnish

Saute 4 cups of corn and chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter, stirring frequently until corn is tender and onion is translucent.  Stir in 2 tbsp. flour, curry salt and pepper and cook stirring constantly for 2 minutes.  Stir in chicken stock and cream and cook till gently boil and mixture thickens slightly.

Process in batches in food processor until smooth.  Garnish with parsley or chives.
