This website is an exclusive opportunity for Farm Credit Canada customers to post their products and services.

At Farm Credit Canada, we've always known that Canadian producers and their products are the crème de la crème. So, we created a website to give everyone the opportunity to discover this, too!

How do I buy products?

Shoppers browse the website, and contact the producers from which they wish to buy using the contact information provided (phone, email, etc).

The supplier (producer of the product) is responsible for each customer contact - from initial sale of the product to ensuring payment is received and any followup is completed.

How does this site work?

You see something you like, you want to know more, or you may want to buy. Contact the producers directly and speak with them. Keep in mind, your contact with the producer is strictly between you and the producer. CanadianFarmersMarket.com is a directory-style service that FCC provides as a benefit to our customers. I've submitted my application, however I can't find my listing?. How long will it take to get listed?

We try to process the listings, have them reviewed by you and translated within 15 business days from the time we receive them. We will contact you if we can not post your listing (as per our Agreement in the sign up form) and will give you the opportunity to review your listing before it is posted.

How will I get my goods?

Ready to buy? Here's how to get your goods. Keep in mind that shipping may be included with your order, or you may have to negotiate with the supplier.

Here are some tips:

  • Ask the supplier (who you're buying from) if they have shipped to a location near you. How long did it take? How much did it cost?
  • Is their product available in a nearby store? Are they making a trip to your area soon?
  • With perishable goods, you'll want to arrange for your product to be shipped on dry ice (see chart below). Ensure you have someone to accept delivery of the package so it can be stored properly when it arrives.

CanadianFarmersMarket.com was created for our customers to showcase their originally grown or manufactured products and services. This means only goods or equipment originally manufactured by the seller may be posted on Farmer to Farmer - used items or items not originally created by the seller can not be listed. As well, customers can only promote the services they offer, not the services they are looking for.
